Protocol

Lysate Preparation:

1.  Collect desired cells in PBS
   1. Other buffers may be suitable
2. Add 5x Cell Lysis Buffer (cat. no. PCL001) to make a 1x suspension; mix suspension.
   1. Example: add 25 μL 5x Cell Lysis Buffer / 100 μL of cell suspension
3. Heat cell suspension at 95°C ~100°C for 10 minutes to lyse cells; mix suspension
4. Use lysate in desired applications
   1. Lysate can be directly applied to PCRopsis Cell (cat. no. CPO001) without centrifugation

PCRopsis 5x Cell Lysis Buffer is an Alternative to:

1. Thermo Fisher Scientific's Cell Lysis Solutions
2. Qiagen's proteinase K mediated cell lysis

PCRopsis 5x Cell Lysis Buffer enables consistent lysis of cells. Each lots is carefully tested to ensure maximum quality.

​Principal

PCRopsis 5x Cell Lysis Buffer is designed to quickly and thoroughly lyse diverse cell types and gain access to DNA for analysis. The cell lysis buffer weakens cell membranes / walls resulting in thorough cell lysis when heat is applied. This approach results in the lysis of mammalian, bacterial and fungal cells and ensures complete representation of microorganisms in mix culture samples. PCRopsis 5x Cell Lysis Buffer is compatible with PCRopsis Cell (cat. no. CPO001).
