Incubation of Blood PCRopsis - treated plasma with the PCRopsis Concentrator results in greater DNA amplification compared to non-concentrated plasma; indicating the DNA in the plasma has been concentrated. The ability of PCRopsis Concentrator to concentrate DNA indicates that it does not significantly bind to DNA. As previously demonstrated in various studies, no amplification was observed when the plasma was directly placed into the PCR mixture without pre-incubation with Blood PCRopsis.
