​Real-time PCR results illustrate the benefit of incubating whole blood with PCRopsis Blood. This 5-minute incubation allows for the detection of  >2 pg / μL genomic DNA. GAPDH was not amplified from uncleaned whole blood even when 20 ng / μL genomic DNA was spiked into the whole blood sample. Real-time PCR utilized 1 μL of plasma pre-incubated with or without PCRopsis Blood. Real-time PCR used a GAPDH specific TaqMan probe for detection of the GAPDH amplified fragment.
