Science Behind PCRopsis™ BCS Nano
PCRopsis™ BCS Nano consists of a set of substrates engineered to selectively precipitate red blood cells (RBC) from whole blood. As a result, an enrichment of white blood cells (WBC) remains on the top portion of the processed sample. This approach can be used in combination with cell-specific depletion products that cross link RBC to undesired cells. In this scenario, PCRopsis™ BCS Nano forces RBC, along with undesired cells, to the bottom of the tube. PCRopsis™ BCS Nano allows for the enrichment of nucleated without the need for centrifugation, filters, or antibodies, and thereby streamlines automated sample processing and results in unlabeled cells.

Entopsis guarantees the performance of PCRopsis™ BCS Nano to precipitate red blood cells from whole blood. Within 7 days of purchase, contact Entopsis ([email protected]) should PCRopsis™ BCS Nano fail to perform as described above or in the CoA. In such a scenario, Entopsis will re-test the Lot in question using remaining product at our facility at our expense (purchaser does not need to ship product to Entopsis). If the re-tested Lot fails to meet our performance criteria, Entopsis will replace the faulty product free of charge. If the Lot meets our performance criteria as stated on the Certificate of Analysis for the Lot in question, then no additional action will be taken.
Please keep in mind that purchasers may use PCRopsis™ BCS Nano for numerous applications, sample types, gene targets, conditions, etc. that are untested and thereby may not work as desired. The purchaser must determine the suitability of PCRopsis™ BCS Nano for their particular use. However, the Entopsis scientific team can assist in the optimization of PCRopsis™ BCS Nano for your desired application. Refunds will not be provided due to a lack of product compatibility with purchaser's desired application.
